Three Ways Emily Can Help Your Baby Thrive
1. Infant Physical Therapy
Is your baby showing a head turn preference? Struggling with tummy time? Not hitting milestones on schedule? Infant PT helps babies move more freely, build strength symmetrically, and feel more comfortable in their bodies. Emily assesses your baby's flexibility, muscle tone, posture, and movement, then creates a hands-on treatment plan and teaches you the exercises to continue at home.
Commonly helps with: torticollis, flat head/plagiocephaly, tummy time struggles, developmental milestones, tongue tie support, and NICU graduate care.
2. Craniosacral Therapy for Babies (and moms)
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is an extremely gentle form of therapeutic bodywork that helps release tension held in the soft tissues and nervous system. Using no more pressure than the weight of a nickel, Emily works with your baby to ease restrictions that may be causing discomfort, feeding challenges, sleep struggles, colic, or reflux. CST is also available for postpartum moms and for mom and baby together, skin-to-skin.
Commonly helps with: birth tension, colic, reflux, sleep challenges, feeding difficulties, nervous system regulation, and postpartum recovery.
3. Lactation and Breastfeeding Support
Feeding your baby should feel connected and calm, but for many families, it does not come easily. As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, Emily provides gentle, evidence-based support for latch challenges, feeding discomfort, milk supply concerns, and tongue-tie recovery. Emily takes a whole-body approach, addressing both baby's tension and mom's comfort, and collaborates with lactation consultants and other providers when additional care is needed.
Commonly helps with: latch difficulties, tongue tie before and after release, breastfeeding pain, feeding positions, and milk supply guidance.
Care that comes to you:
Packing up a newborn for a clinic visit is a lot. Be Still Wellness removes that barrier entirely.
In-home infant therapy means your baby is assessed and treated in the environment where they are most relaxed; in your home. Sessions happen on your floor, your play mat, your bed. Emily works around your schedule, your other kids, and your family's rhythm. You stay present, involved, and empowered throughout every visit.
Emily currently serves families across Greater Dayton and surrounding communities, including Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Warren, Clark, Butler, and Preble counties.
You Are Not Alone in This Journey
I created Be Still Wellness LLC out of a deep passion to support infants and their families during some of the most tender, challenging moments of early life. As a mom myself, I know how overwhelming it can feel when your baby struggles to feed, rest, or find comfort.
My mission is to create a space where both you and your baby can exhale, feel seen, and find stillness. I bring my background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist together with specialized training in Craniosacral Therapy to help little ones move, feed, and grow with greater ease, and to help parents feel supported and confident along the way.
Be Still Wellness is the only in-home private practice in Greater Dayton offering infant physical therapy, craniosacral therapy, and lactation support under one roof, or rather, yours.
